As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Hamilton AI, you will work directly with customers, industry leaders, and internal teams to develop and implement cutting-edge AI solutions. You will own AI strategy and execution, designing large-scale machine learning workflows and taking them from prototype to production.

You will be at the forefront of AI-driven aviation transformation, integrating LLMs, automation, and data-driven decision-making into real-world operations. Your work will shape Hamilton AI’s strategic direction and extend its footprint into new markets, unlocking new opportunities through next-generation AI capabilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Work end-to-end on AI-powered solutions—from prototyping to deployment.
  • Build and optimize LLM workflows and AI-driven automation at scale.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, product leaders, and aviation experts to deliver mission-critical AI applications.
  • Partner with customers to define and execute AI strategy, embedding intelligence into their operations.
  • Own technical delivery of high-impact AI projects, working hands-on with machine learning models, data pipelines, and production systems.
  • Contribute field insights to improve Hamilton’s AI product suite and enhance its platform capabilities.
  • Push the boundaries of Gen AI applications in aviation, identifying new opportunities and innovations.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience building and deploying AI solutions—particularly with LLMs and Gen AI.
  • Strong foundation in machine learning (evaluation, training, problem decomposition).
  • Strong software engineering skills with experience in Python / Node, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Ability to own the full lifecycle of AI applications—from research to production.
  • Experience with data processing pipelines, analytics, and model deployment.
  • Ability to work directly with customers to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions.
  • Interest and ability to travel up to 25%, based on project needs.

Bonus Points

✅ Experience in AI-driven automation, optimization, or NLP.

✅ Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).

✅ Previous exposure to aviation, logistics, or other logistics/optimization industries.
